“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age”
(Matthew 28:19-20).
From November 27-29, Bishop Riesbeck will preach a three-day Mission on the theme of "The Great Commission," diving into Jesus' call to "Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations."
This Mission will help equip people first to KNOW Jesus, to GROW with him as his disciples and in community with one another, and finally to GO to the peripheries, spreading the Good News to all we meet and inviting people into a life-changing relationship with Jesus and his Church.
Evening missions will take place from 7PM-9PM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Saint John. Each session will begin with Mass, with a Reconciliation service offered on Tuesday and Commissioning and Healing Prayer on Wednesday.
Refreshments and fellowship will follow each session.
See the poster for this Mission here.
Not in the Saint John region? No problem!
This Mission will also be available via Zoom. Parishes in Fredericton and Miramichi are encouraged to host watch parties to build fraternity and participate in this diocesan mission.
