The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception is an example of English or “Neo” Gothic architecture designed by Saint John architect Matthew Stead. Much of the original construction was accomplished by volunteers, many of whom worked as shipbuilders on the Saint John waterfront.
More than 100,000 people visit the Cathedral each year. We invite you to take a tour through our photo gallery. Welcome to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception website. Thanks for visiting!
